The setting is straight out of the "Godfather." And that's a
compliment.

With the authentic Italian music playing in the background in a
softly candlelit room, massive portions of food come steaming out
of the kitchen at Fratelli Di Napoli Ristorante in Roswell.

It is a family style Italian, which means everyone gathers around
the table for extra portions of food and fun. There is also an
extensive wine list available.

I was immediately struck by the atmosphere upon entering the
restaurant. With the exposed brick on the walls and high ceilings, it
provided perfect relaxation after a busy day in Atlanta.

My dinner companion and I were greeted with a smile the moment
we entered. Our waitress was courteous and helpful for a first time
visitor.

The prices on the menu might seem a bit excessive at first glance.
The lasagna for example was $23.95. However, we were assured
very large portions and could opt for half-sized portions.

I'm always a thrifty shopper and that usually translates to my
restaurant experiences. We decided to try their combination
special, which is available from Sunday to Thursday for $12.99.
With your choice of salad, pasta, and entrée, it seemed to be quite
the deal.

We chose a fresh mozzarella and tomato salad, pasta with parmesan
cream, and chicken marsala—all for $12.99.

The dinner started with fresh bread similar to what you get at other
Italian restaurants. However, this tasted like it was baked that day
and was a great start.

The salad was delicious. Packed with fresh mozzarella, Roma
tomatoes, red onions, black olives and topped with balsamic
vinaigrette, the salad set the hopes high for the evening.

My dinner companion ordered the Caesar salad, which turned out
to be "great" and "better than most Caesar salads" from other
restaurants. The dressing did not overpower the rest of the salad
and was perfectly mixed into the lettuce.

I was a little disappointed by the entrée when it first arrived at my
table. The pasta and entrée seemed tiny compared to what I had
witnessed coming out of the kitchen.

I twirled the angel hair pasta around my fork and took my first
taste. The parmesan cream was outstanding. Sometimes the sauces
on pasta can overwhelm the senses, but this was melt-in-your mouth
good.

The pasta turned out to actually be a hefty portion. I could have
eaten more but didn't need to, which is the ultimate compliment to
the chef.

The chicken marsala was okay. It didn't knock my socks off, but it
served as a ho-hum sidekick to the scrumptious pasta. I was
disappointed in the main feature being average.

The pasta with parmesan cream definitely stole the spotlight and
made up for the chicken marsala.

Stuffed by my seemingly small portion, I was happily contemplating
going over the edge and getting dessert. The waitress suggested the
special cheesecake brulee ($7) served with fresh strawberries and
whipped cream.

It was quite frankly the best dessert I've ever had.

The cheesecake itself had a somewhat crunchy top layer that was
magnificent. The middle layer of cheesecake was perfectly done.
And the strawberries and whipped cream accompanied the
incredible cheesecake wonderfully.

I had a cup of coffee ($1.99) with the dessert and it was the perfect
cap to the evening.

I found myself not wanting to leave. When I finally managed to pry
myself away from the warm and welcoming atmosphere, I found the
staff to be as friendly as they were coming in.

The restaurant's atmosphere definitely warrants a return trip to try
some of the rest of the menu. With so many Italian food choices out
there, Fratelli Di Napoli Ristorante in Roswell is definitely worth a
visit—especially for the cheesecake brulee.

The service, staff (Justin),  food and preparation were exquisite.  In
fact, I almost forgot we were in the states for a period...

I have dined at both Fratelli's locations on numerous occasions and
have always been pleased.  But I wanted to let you know what an
outstanding dinner I had at your Roswell location yesterday.  I had
three very particular,  VIP clients in town to entertain, one of
whom had multiple food allergies.  Dinner with them the night
before had been a disaster at another restaurant that one of the
clients had chosen. I certainly didn't want a repeat experience, so I
chose Fratelli's.  The staff could not have been more helpful, going
the extra mile and easily accommodating my clients requests.  And
the food was terrific, as always. My clients raved about the Chicken
Piccata and the Tiramasu in particular.  The valet parking was
much appreciated, especially since it was raining. Thanks for
making me look good!

On all of our visits to both Fratelli Di Napoli's, we have had
exceptional dining experiences. Food is always consistently
outstanding with prompt friendly service and great selections. They
are great places for accommodating any size group for family
gatherings, reunions or entertaining out-of-town guests. We highly
recommend Fratelli's as one of the best in Metro Atlanta for a
unique dining experience. Love the valet parking!!

My Wife and I had our Wedding reception with many out-of-town
guests with many different tastes.  We chose Fratelli's and every
member of my family and friends that attended made a point to let
me know what a wonderful job we did on choosing the location.
Not only the food was to die for, the service was outstanding.
Excellent atmosphere and very convenient.  My wife and I go there
when ever we are in the area.  And don't forget to end the night
with a Jimmy's coffee.  Best after dinner cocktail in town!!!

Kirk and Valerie Hosch

We have had several visits to Fratelli Di Napoli and always had a
wonderful dining experience. From a small intimate dinner for two
to our wedding reception dinner we have always felt the food was
wonderful, as did our guests! As always, the service was
outstanding. We've tried both the Buckhead and the Roswell
locations and found a special ambiance' in both. Valet parking is
also a plus! We recommend Fratelli Di Napoli as one of the most
unique, (and delicious, the mussels are to die for!), dining
experiences in the Atlanta area.

My wife and I have been to Fratelli Di Napoli's several times and
always try something different. I can honestly say we have never
made a bad choice. Everything has been great. We do have our
favorites, like the gorgonzola crusted filet, vodka rigatoni, mussels
in white wine sauce, and of course the five layered chocolate cake
(it's to die for). My only complaint would be that the portions are
very large, it's difficult to try more than one entree if you go as a
couple. For groups of four or more it a fabulous dining choice and
one of the best deals in town.

Mr. Edward Hano and Mrs. Lisa Kegebein

Whether a large group celebration, intimate date or business
dinner, to avoid disappointments, I choose Fratelli's.  Great food -
great wine - great service - no guesswork!   Must try!

Sharon Martin/Reynolds

Thanks for a great time last night!  My wife and I and two other
couples really had a ball at Fratelli's.  The Vodka Rigatoni, as well
as the other dishes, were superb and the wine list included just
about everything imaginable.  It was all top notch --- the food, the
staff, the ambience, the wines.  We're looking forward to this
becoming a habit with us.  Outstanding!

Fratelli’s is our favorite restaurant for entertaining. The ambience
is great but comfortably casual. The food and service are
outstanding as are the wine selections and the bar. Being near the
north perimeter, both locations work for us; and our experiences at
both have always exceeded our expectations. Try them. You will be
happy that you did!

Pat & Barbara Hiebel

I wanted to write this letter to let everyone at Fratelli’s know what
a wonderful experience we had at your restaurant. The service we
received at every level was fantastic. We were most impressed with
the incredible food and the portions where even larger than we
expected even though it is advertised as family style. We cannot
think of any restaurant that offers so much value in a fine dining
experience. We will continue to come back for this level of food and
service.

My new husband and I would like to thank you for all you, Lisa,
Elizabeth, and the rest of your staff did to help make our wedding
at your restaurant,on Saturday afternoon, June 18, a delightful
experience.  Every single adult at the wedding and reception
mentioned how pleased and impressed  they were with the entire
event.  The most frequent comment was how nice it was that the
pace was slow and unhurried, allowing family and friends to enjoy
the wonderful food and to visit with those they haven't seen in
years.

The large round table off to the side for the children worked out
perfectly! I brought different things to occupy them, and the separate
table area gave them a place to go play whenever they wanted to.
Even the chairs that were left from the ceremony were great
because they provided a buffer for keeping the children away from
the dining tables when they needed to move around.

Joe, you did a great job explaining the details for the meal,
beverages, etc.  Your pride in your restaurant, food and staff and
your confidence and enthusiasm helped me feel comfortable that I
was choosing the right place for my wedding and reception.  Lisa
did a great job explaining things at the tasting, answering my
questions, and helping me with all the many details for setting up
the room for the ceremony and the meal, and  for the menu, the
toast, the cake etc. Elizabeth and the other servers were great!  And
eventually, everything was a blur-but I know the servers did a good
job also.  Everything went so smoothly and I could relax  because I
knew we were in good hands.  Kudos to your staff.
The food was delicious! We were so happy to have our carefully-
packed leftovers because many of the family members came to our
home to visit later that day.  We had other food there also, but
everyone seemed quite delighted to have another helping of your
delicious food.
We also enjoyed having the entire restaurant to ourselves. Since we
had our ceremony there too, it helped not to have others milling
around.  It was a warm, inviting, comfortable place for our
wedding, and that is exactly what we wanted.
Thank you again for helping our wedding day go smoothly and for
helping us have a wedding and reception with many wonderful
memories.
